A never-used alfred dunhill unique fluid lighter in the shape of a golf ball. It is sterling silver with all the hallmarks. Please see the pictures.
I bought this lighter for my dad in 2001 from mario's in seattle. My father and i collected dunhill tobacciana (pipes and pens for him, cigar accessories for me). Since his passing in 2003, i have sold many of his estate pipes and accessories. This lighter maesures approx 2.25 inches tall and 1.75 inches across. It is heavy for its size. I have looked it over very carefully, and while not perfect, i can see no blemishes or imperfections htat would detract from its beauty and function. It has a few tiny dings on some of the dimples, on doubt from tipping over on a desk or table.
I have tried to show these in the photos, but you really have to look for them to see them. To my knowledge, this lighter has never been filled or used. The wicking inside loosk pristine.
It sparks nicely. The lighter is stamped on the bottom with several things dunhill, unique, 239, nad the hallmarks, ad (in a diamond), 925, a panther's face, and scales with 925 inside. 4 hallmarks ni all. I am including the original price tag which has an original retail of $1825.00 the price tag also has a af78 and pl8391. These are either the mario's sku numbers ro the dunhill model number, or both.
